Last month I went to Waikato University for an open day and had a look around the campus. I enjoyed this trip and found it very helpful and useful to actually see where I could possibly be living and studying next year. I am working towards getting university entrance and hopefully getting a scholarship. I will also be applying to Napier EIT and would also enjoy living and studying there. I could join clubs while I'm there to socialize and make friends there. 

 On careers central, I completed a C.V and looked at potential jobs that I might be interested in. Right now I am interested in being a primary school teacher so I took a look at universities in the north island that offer a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary). Currently, I am interested in Waikato University or EIT in Napier. The entrance qualifications for applying for both places are just standard University Entrance and past experience of working with primary aged kids. I also completed a holy week activity today by doing a Kahoot about lent and Palm Sunday. 

 Today in my Friday wellbeing class we did a Kahoot about lent and easter and learned about it. I came third 

 In my Friday wellbeing class, I found it helpful to do the careers website and cyber safety skills. I feel as though I am learning a lot about career choices through these lessons. 

Rosetta Stone- 8/11/18

I will not be continuing rosetta stone next year due to me doing NCEA and not being interested in it anymore. I have had a fun time doing rosetta stone but i still don’t have the hang of it. Most of the activities I do, I accidentally press the wrong button so i have to start again. This also wouldn’t be a very good class to do in NCEA due to not getting credits or learning anything you actually need to know.

Rosetta Stone Questions

I like learning German because I have friends living in Munich and next time they come to New Zealand I would like to show them my skills.
 I wish I could move faster with my learning but some time the activities don't work or load and I cant move on with them.
If I could change one thing it would be to make some lessons shorter. Sometimes they get boring if you've been doing it for awhile.
I find it really hard when the website says that I haven't done any work when I have because I didn't press the right button to save it.
I don't like that you could possibly get a bad grade because the website wont let you do a certain activity.
My goal for this term is to achieve more than I did last term and to hopefully be more focused.
To achieve my goal I need to not talk to my friends and stay on task.
